New types of dynamic fields
REXDynamicFieldExternalSource is a plugin that introduces new types of dynamic fields. It allows the configuration of dynamic fields of the cascading menu type whose selectable values are obtained through calls to web services.
New types that can be managed and configured like any other dynamic field in Rexpondo – ((OTRS)) Community edition. The values of these dynamic fields can be used to search on tickets and can also be used as a filter and / or as a search in the ticket tables by queue and by status.

The plugin allows you to create dynamic fields that retrieve information from other systems through web service calls and that can be used to respond to a specific request.

Using this type of field allows you to:
- retrieve information from sources external to Rexpondo, and possibly also external to the corporate infrastructure (public web services or integration between different customers)
- data retrieval is dynamic and always up-to-date
- no maintenance management is required
