Who is it aimed at

The Expert Training course is designed to Admins who would like to further understand the system. The course content is structured to be more technical and have more tips on how to manage Rexpondo customizations and how to connect the platform with external systems, with a focus on authentication methods (LDAP config, LDAP group synchronisation with Rexpondo roles).

Of the many arguments covered the focus will be on how to migrate Rexpondo or ((OTRS)) Community edition from a previous version to a later one, the creation of complex ACL and advanced postmaster filters. A part of the course will be dedicated to reporting and the creation of customised reports.

Location and modality

Online or classroom training, at your company or in an another suitable location.

Lenght

16 hours.

Material required

Each participant must have his or her own laptop with a web browser installed (preferably Google Chrome) and Rexpondo.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge required to participate in the course.

Web architecture

Basic knowledge of the software based on web architecture.

SQL

Basic knowledge of SQL.

Unix Systems

Competence in Unix / Linux (z.B. LPIC1).

Text editor with Unix interface

Experience in the use of editor (e.g. UltraEdit, VI, VIM).

Experienced user

Experience as a Rexpondo administrator

Internet Protocols

Practical knowledge of protocols, e.g. SMTP, POP3, HTTP, FTP.

Web server and email server configuration

Ability to configure a web (Apache2) and email server.

The structure of the lessons may vary according to the starting level of the participants.

Set up of new skins on agent interface
